Aurelius Gliddon b. Guernsey 1857; Headingly (Meth.); Methodist Forces Chaplain, Malta 1881; he married in Guernsey in 1881 and is shown as living there on the 1881 census.Twickenham ov.1881-82; minister 1882-84 d. Croydon 1929 - His daughter, Katie Gliddon, 1883-196? was a noted artist and suffragette. The 1891 Census shows him in Cheltenham, occupation 'manager of medicine depot', the 1901 Census in St Albans, 'Patent medicine drug vendor'. He is noted as an author of books on electro homoeopathy.
